Story
Domaine Larochette is a family-owned vineyard in southern Burgundy, situated on the slopes of Chaintré. Fabrice Larochette took over estate leadership from his father in 1988. Domaine Larochette both honors local traditions and incorporates modern advancements to preserve the terroir and produce high-quality wines.

Vineyard
In Southern Burgundy, the Mâconnais hills, painted by nature’s brush, span 40 kilometers from Côte Chalonnaise to the Rock of Solutré. Bordered by the Saône and Grosne rivers, the Chaintré area features clay and limestone terrain, divided by parallel faults, offering unique exposures – north/north-westerly or south/south-easterly.

Vinification
The process involves pneumatic pressing for gentle extraction, followed by the use of temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to maintain precise temperature conditions during fermentation and maturation.

Tasting Notes
Pale gold color in the glass. The nose is very complex combining white fruits and liquorice with a floral touch. The palate is greasy and structured with lots of personality.
